The HOKUETSU brand of gas-phase activated carbon is primarily used for deodorization at many chemical and food factories. Some of HOKUETSU’s products are specially processed and exclusively designed for ammonia, aldehyde, and other compounds that activated carbons don’t generally interact well with.

Hokuetsu MA-G

HOKUETSU MA-G specializes in mercury gas adsorption.
Other procedures, such as absorption and cleaning, may be used to capture mercury vapor. However, using HOKUETSU brand products is easier than undergoing any of the other procedures.
It stays effective for longer in low concentrations than general activated carbon.
